Holiday Closures & New Classes

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’re enjoying the holiday season!

Our school will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

Christmas Eve – Wednesday, December 24th
Christmas Day – Thursday, December 25th
New Years Eve – Wednesday, December 31st
New Years Day – Thursday, January 1st
 

Here are a couple of class and seminar announcements:

*The Tai Chi for Beginners class will turn into a Hand Form 1 class starting Saturday, January 3rd at 10am.

*We will start a Tai Chi Basics class on Thursday, February 5th at 8pm.  Please let me know if you, or anyone you know, is interested in joining this class.

*Please let me know if you are interested in attending a one-day Saber Form seminar with Master Yang.  This seminar will be held on either a Saturday or Sunday in February/March.  10 students needed for this seminar.

Wednesday Class Schedule Change

Hi Everyone,

Today, Wednesday, October 29th was the last Basic Push Hands Circling Class.  This class will resume sometime in the future.

Beginning Wednesday, November 5th, we will start a New Teacher Training Class at 6pm.  If you have completed the Traditional Long Form and would like to become a teacher at our school and in your community email Nancy@yangfamilytaichi.com.  Class Syllabus will include interactive instruction on how each movement is taught, how to conduct a class, in depth discussion of the 10 Essentials, and much more.

The 7pm Sword Class and 8pm Hand Form 1 classes will remain as scheduled.

Saturday Classes

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to remind you that beginning this Saturday, November 1st:

*The current 10am class will move to 11am.  This class will start learning the 3rd Section.

*A new Beginning Tai Chi class will start at 10am.  This class will focus on all the basic requirements needed prior to joining a Section 1 Hand Form class.  Students in this class will learn warm-ups, footwork, upper body movements, correct body shapes, and more.   This class will meet indefinitely.  New and current students are welcome to join at any time.  Please send email to Nancy@yangfamilytaichi.com to let me know if you, or anyone you know, is interested in joining this class.
