Symposium 2014

symplogoAs you may know, the Second International Tai Chi Symposium will be held in Louisville, KY from July 6 to July 11 this year. The Yang Family Tai Chi Foundation, as the host organization, has tried hard to bring the top level Tai Chi masters from China and needs our help to make the Symposium successful. I will put a donation box at the school for your convenience to support this event. I encourage our students to participate in this unique event since the next one will be overseas. You will taste what are the differences between the different styles. You will get information from scientists on how Tai Chi affects our body,  why Tai Chi is one of the best exercises, and more and more. For the schedule and program, please click here.

If you are interested in the Symposium and have questions, please contact me at .

Thank you in advance for your support!
Enjoy the beautiful weather!

School Announcements

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’re enjoying our beautiful Spring weather!  Here are a few school announcements:

World Tai Chi Day – Every year on the last Saturday of April at 10am, beginning in the Earth’s earliest time zone in New Zealand and ending in Hawaii, a peaceful soothing event unfolds and changes the world forever as it blooms around the Earth throughout the entire day – time zone by time zone.  Gently and effortlessly the world will breathe together in a T’ai Chi & QiGong relay of calm.

This year, World Tai Chi Day will be on Saturday, April 26th.

If you would like to participate, please come to Hollyhills Park – 19200 Hollyhills Drive, Bothell at 9:45am.  We will start promptly at 10:00am by doing an 18 movement warm-up and then practice the Traditional 103 hand form, followed by the Sword and Saber forms.  Following our practice, everyone is invited to have lunch together at a nearby restaurant (any suggestions?).  Family and friends are welcome to join in or watch.

Please let me know if you plan to attend.
