2 New Classes

Hi Everyone,

A few school announcements on 2 new classes:

NEW TEACHER TRAINING CLASS–
I am creating a class for anyone who has completed the Traditional Long Form and would like to become a teacher at our school and in your community. Class Syllabus will include interactive instruction on how each movement is taught, how to conduct a class, the dos and don’ts of class conduct for instructors, discussion of the 10 Essentials, and much more.
This class will be scheduled for Monday evenings (time to be determined) for 60-90 minutes. Once I know who and how many are interested, I will assign a start date. There will be no additional charge to attend this class.

Please send email to Nancy@yangfamilytaichi.com to let me know you’d like to join this class.

NEW BEGINNER (BASIC) CLASS STARTING –
We will start a new beginner (basic) class on Saturday, November 1st at 11am. This class will focus on all the basic requirements needed prior to learning the Traditional Form – i.e., warm-ups, footwork, upper body movements, body shapes, etc.

Please send email to Nancy @yangfamilytaichi.com to let me know if you, or anyone you know, is interested in joining this class.

Let me know if you have any questions/concerns.

Thank you!

Symposium 2014

symplogoAs you may know, the Second International Tai Chi Symposium will be held in Louisville, KY from July 6 to July 11 this year. The Yang Family Tai Chi Foundation, as the host organization, has tried hard to bring the top level Tai Chi masters from China and needs our help to make the Symposium successful. I will put a donation box at the school for your convenience to support this event. I encourage our students to participate in this unique event since the next one will be overseas. You will taste what are the differences between the different styles. You will get information from scientists on how Tai Chi affects our body,  why Tai Chi is one of the best exercises, and more and more. For the schedule and program, please click here.

If you are interested in the Symposium and have questions, please contact me at fanghong@taichisymposium.com .

Thank you in advance for your support!
Enjoy the beautiful weather!
