Welcome to Summer!
We’ve been hibernating for 15 months now and it’s finally time for us to gradually get back to outdoor and indoor activities. With that said, here is information on current and upcoming classes and practices…
Upcoming Sunday Practices (indoors/outdoors)
No Sunday, July 4th practice in observance of Independence Day. This day of celebration for the birth of our nation
For the month of July, we will have our Sunday Practices at a local park. Here is our schedule (please note time):

Upcoming Classes
STARTING TUESDAY, JULY 6th @ 4pm – Senior Form Instruction with Nancy
This form is not just for ‘seniors’ – its intention is to have seniors learn this easier form, however, those of you, who already know tai chi, have experienced its challenges. This form will not let you down.
The good news is some of the kicks and ending movements have been eliminated! This means, you can focus more on the movements and not fret too much about standing on one leg. Here is the link to register for the class:

STARTING WEDNESDAY, JULY 7th @ 4pm – 2nd Section Instruction with Rita

STARTING FRIDAY, JULY 9TH @ 3pm – 2nd Section Practice with Rita
This practice session will focus on the 2nd Section and will reinforce what you’ve learned while attending the 2nd Section class. This class will cover movements learned in the Wednesday class. Here is the link to register:

Students work on and practice movements learned in the Friday class. Here is the link to register for this practice:

Mondays @ 4pm and Saturdays @ 9am – 1st Section w/DD
It’s never too late to join. These two classes work in tandem to provide extra review and practice to movements in the 1st Section. Here is the link to register for these classes:

MONDAYS @ 7PM – Sword Practice w/Kelly
Students practice all movements learned in the Saturday sword class. This is a great way to get extra practice with prompts and guidance. Here is the link to register for this practice:

Fridays @ 4pm – 3rd Section w/Pierre
Students work on learning/relearning movements in the 3rd Section. This is the longest section of the Yang Family Traditional Hand Form, and although it has quite a few repeat movements, it still provides an excellent challenge to students. Here is the link to register for this class:

Tuesdays @ 7pm – Refinement w/Nancy
This class finished Tuesday, June 29th. We hope those who’ve attended have learned some new refinements to apply to your form. Keep an eye out for future offerings.
Distance Ranking Event
Congratulations to those who participated in the International Association’s first Distance Ranking Event held by our school. Everyone will be awarded their specific ranking certificate and pin.
