Hello August! We are in the middle of Summer – this means it’s the last real month to take vacation before kids are back in school. My how time flies!

TUITION/CONTRIBUTIONS:
Your tuition/contributions are vital – they help us to continue to offer classes! All monies received is applied towards paying important expenses – instructor compensation, insurance, zoom subscriptions, and more.

CLASS PROMOTIONS FOR AUGUST:
All students are required to submit the Waiver of Liability and Student Registration Forms to participate (Forms to fill out – Seattle Yang Chengfu Tai Chi Center) (disregard if you’ve already done this).
1. IN-PERSON REFINEMENT & PUSH HANDS – THURSDAYS 4:30PM TO 6:30PM
These classes meet weekly at the Maltby Community Clubhouse. All students are welcome to join either or both classes. From 4:30pm to 5:30pm we work on hand forms (49, 103, Essential and Senior Forms) and from 5:30pm to 6:30pm it’s Push Hands!
Push Hands is the ‘active’ part of tai chi where students learn circling patterns with a partner and after that learn how to applying and neutralize the energies we are working with in the traditional hand form. It’s a fun and gentle class plus working with a partner is quite engaging.

2. IN-PERSON SECTION 3 REVIEW W/JP – STARTS SUNDAY, AUGUST 3rd @ 10:30am
This class meets at the Kirkland Dance Center – 835 7th Ave, Kirkland, WA. All students are welcome to join and review Section 3 of the Traditional Hand Form. If you’re looking for a place that has mirrors, this is the location for you!

3. YOGA W/CHERYL – TUESDAYS @ 3PM (PST)
This class meets weekly on Zoom. Students have raving feedback on this class and how it incorporates Yoga with Tai Chi which helps with balance, strength and flexibility.
