August Class Updates
Hi Everyone,
We started summer with an exhilarating seminar with Master Yang! Forty students attended over five days of instruction for the senior, sword and saber forms. Needless to say, we all came away filled with excitement and a lot of note taking. If the opportunity arises, gift yourself with attending one of his seminars. He never disappoints.

ZOOM CLASSES/PRACTICES:
1. Hand Form Practice and Review w/JP – Wednesdays at 4pm starts July 10th and finishing on August 28th. Class will start with a short warm-up and standing practice. We’ll practice the traditional 108 hand form, followed by discussion and refinement. We’ll review and practice fundamental methods like stepping, waist movement, and techniques that recur throughout the form.
2. Tuesdays at 9:30am – Tai Chi Explorations w/DD starts August 6th: This introduction to Tai Chi takes inspiration from the many ways we move in our everyday lives. Students use evocative imagery to support their learning, as we experiment with different ways of moving, balancing, and aligning our bodies. Basic Tai Chi postures, skills, movements and principles are revealed, practiced, and incorporated into our expanding Tai Chi Toolkits. While laughter, discovery, and imagination are very much hallmarks of this class, so are moments of peace, shared community, and wellbeing. All students are welcome whether new to Tai Chi or an experienced practitioner. No experience with Tai Chi is needed, and the class may be joined at any time.
